On Penzance quay ensure your luggage has a red St Martins label (these are provided on the quay). When you arrive on St Marys your luggage should be loaded direct onto the boat for onward travel to St Martins. Please check this has happened before leaving St Marys quay.

Onward travel to St Martins

The inter-island boating is run by St Marys Boatman’s Association and you can purchase your ticket on board the boat or at the stone kiosk at the town end of St Marys quay.

St Marys Boatman’s Association request that any single item of luggage is no heavier than 20kg and with no items sticking out from a piece of luggage, eg fishing rods, walking sticks, paddles etc!

It is advisable to either have your suitcase in a plastic bag or the items inside the case in a plastic bag to keep them dry in transit.

Please ensure you have waterproof clothing with you as you may be travelling on an open boat.

We ask that you travel with your luggage on your day of arrival.

Arrival at St Martins Quay

One member of your party only to remain on the quay to offload and identify your luggage.

We ask that you put your luggage into our van/trailer.

We will take your luggage to your cottage, for you to offload when you arrive.

We may not be able to offer lifts to & from your cottage so please wear suitable footwear as you may have to walk from Lowertown quay which is approximately a mile.

Access to your accommodation

The accommodation will be available to our guests by 16.00 at the latest on the day you arrive. Please ensure you have suitable clothing in case the weather is a little inclement! Have your mobile phone to hand because if the property is ready earlier we will contact you.

Please return your travel form in good time and we will contact you the evening before you arrive to inform you of the time the St Marys Boatman’s Association boat will be departing from St Marys.

If you are delayed on your arrival day please inform us as soon as possible.

If you are arriving after the last scheduled boat for the day you can arrange a private transfer with Tresco Boats on 01720 423373 or Falcon Boating on 07841 368987.

Departure day: You will be required to vacate the property by 9am and have your luggage ready for transportation to the quay by 8.45am.

PLEASE NOTE - It is advisable that you bring a face mask with you, as some establishments may request that they be worn.
